A prime objective of the group is to add to the existing written and pictorial records of local archaeological sites by producing reports of excavations and other activities of the group, and by lodging copies of such with appropriate bodies.
The group offers members a diverse agenda of related activities including archaeological fieldwork in the form of field-walking, geophysics and excavation. In addition, we organise lectures, excursions, social events and research.
Further information about the group is available on the 'About Us' page.

We aim to identify and investigate the archaeological heritage of the village of Liss and the surrounding areas in East Hampshire and West Sussex.....
...by including local residents in learning about the history of their area through offering opportunities to experience many aspects of archaeological investigation.
